Briefing:
Bethesda Softworks invites you to create a movie inspired poster for The Evil Within 2, the upcoming action and survival horror video game from Tango Gameworks.
From Shinji Mikami, The Evil Within 2 takes the acclaimed franchise to a new level with its unique blend of psychological thrills and true survival horror.
The story:
Sebastian Castellanos has lost everything, including his daughter, Lily. To save her, he’s forced to partner with Mobius, the shadowy group responsible for the destruction of his former life. For his last chance at redemption, the only way out is in. The game releases on Xbox One, PC, PS4 on October 13th.
Design Tips:
The winning entries will be judged by PosterSpy who will be looking for creative showcasing of the video game. You may use a broad range of styles for inspiration from street art to your own style of creating. We want to draw from the themes of the game and create something unique, bold and exciting. Be sure to check out the hi-resolution stills for inspiration, however avoid using these in your artwork.
Guidelines
The poster must be A3 600dpi or A2 300dpi
Please upload an RGB file in either JPEG or PNG format.
Please use the hashtag #THEEVILWITHIN2ART when sharing/posting your artwork on social media.
You may enter more than once. Please avoid using photo comps and re-creating the original key art.
The official Title Treatment is downloadable via the hi-res images tab. We do not mind if you alter this logo if it aids your design. You also are not required to use the Title Treatment if you don’t want to.
Dates to Remember
The creative brief will be open from September 1st 3pm BST and end on September 25th 11:59pm BST.
Prizes
1 Grand Prize winner will receive £1000. 2nd place will receive £750, 3rd place will receive £500. A Community choice will be awarded £250 based on most loves.
Bethesda and PosterSpy will also choose a selection of the best entries (including the winners) to display at an official gallery event in partnership with GAME that will take place October 7th. More information on how to attend this event will be released closer to the time.

The Community choice is based on the most loves from our community. However to prevent users from exploiting this system only active accounts from the PosterSpy community will be accepted. Inactive or spam accounts will not be counted.

How many submissions can I upload?
You may upload as many submissions as you like, there’s no cap.
Do I keep the rights to my art?
When submitting, you allow Bethesda and PosterSpy to share your submission on social media to promote the game and marketing campaign as well as displaying them at they gallery event in October, but that’s it. All rights stay with you in so far as such rights relate to your original and independent work. Bethesda are not permitted to use your artwork commercially without permission.
Can I sell prints of my submission?
Legally, you are NOT allowed to sell prints that use another company’s intellectual property.
If I win, how long does it take for me to get my prize money?
Typically 8-12 weeks. This can be much shorter or longer depending on when we receive your information.
Don’t forget, the community choice award (£250) is given to the poster with the most loves.

Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. The cash prize will be sent by PosterSpy to the respective winners via Bank transfer or via Paypal if living outside of the UK. Payment may take up to 8 weeks to be processed.
Entrants must submit their own original art that follow the provided Brief. No other copyrighted material may be used. The images provided by ZeniMax are the Intellectual Property of Zenimax and are provided solely for use in this contest for reference purposes only.
The use of copyrighted or trademarked material not owned by ZeniMax or yourself is strictly prohibited.
Your entry may not include inappropriate language or any inappropriate, offensive, violent, harmful, or sexually explicit content.
Not complying with the Contest Terms might result in exclusion from the contest and your entries being removed.
All submitted artwork copyrights remain with the artist in so far as such rights relate to the original and independent work of the artist. ZeniMax retains all rights and ownership to its own Intellectual Property.
