«Her name is Bella. She’s an experiment» Now that Poor Things has been released to on-demand platforms and we’re heading to Oscar night, I thought it was a nice opportunity to reveal the fourth alternative poster I made for it and revisit my previous takes on the film.

It’s very interesting and fun to see the evolution of this film within my work and how it inspired me to create different pieces in varying styles. My first two were made even before the trailer was released so I wasn’t that influenced by the movie itself, let alone the experience of watching. I was trying to express what the synopsis and notes on the film were at the time. Even referencing its Frankenstein-inspired plot a little or just trying to make a convincing type layout. After finally watching it (and not really loving it as much as I would have wanted to), I felt compelled to create a new, fresh, and updated poster.
