NEW WORK ✨💫 My last poster of the year goes to one of my favorite movies of the year. Just a week ago I got the chance to catch “Monster” at the cinema and it was quite an experience. I’m usually driven to grandiloquent, lavish, obscure, or atmospheric films. So “Monster”, with all its quietness, methodical pace, slow reveals, and contemplative grace is certainly an unexpected addition to my canon. But it’s one of those films that stayed in my mind for days after watching it and its effect has lingered since. Not to mention this was Ryuichi Sakamoto’s last film score and the depth and nostalgia of his music truly adds to the emotional power of the story.
