My alternative poster for Host, an exclusive movie streaming on Shudder. The movie takes place entirely on a Zoom call between friends, as they accidentally summon up forces they can’t comprehend. I wanted to do something different and I thought the screenshot idea could be fun. For the copy treatment, I decided to make it look like everything is happening within the frames. Different elements spell out “HOST”, followed by the blank panel with the “Shudder original” text.
