Here is my submission for the ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ poster competition. I really wanted to focus on Frances McDormand’s eyes, as they pierce into you and the rest of Ebbing, Missouri’s police force. I wanted a clean and simple composition to focus on the statement and display the narrative clearly. I originally wanted fire in the image as well either side, but decided to take it out in the end. So your eyes focus on Frances and then the text, following her eyes down. Hopefully the image draws you into the centre and title.
