“The Londoner Magazine was started to display the wonderful talent of artists who have a connection with the city of London.

We want to celebrate these connections that our artists have with London and display them in the form of imaginary covers in homage to the amazing covers of The New Yorker , The Parisianer and The Tokyoiter.

Each month a new cover will be released along with an artist’s story and profile on what their particular approach for their cover design was. We are interested in work from artists all over the world, but the one rule is they are making art based on experiences, viewpoints and connections they have with the City of London, Good or Bad!”

“Jemma’s October cover focuses heavily on the current political climate, with reference to Brexit and the idea of ‘it being a pantomime’. The artwork was created as a homage to Victorian puppet master illustrations, but with a modern twist.”
