The Dark Knight

As part of my final project at uni, I created a series of 4 alternative movie posters and a supporting illustrated book on 4 of Christopher Nolan’s movies. One of those movies was The Dark Knight. For the poster, I wanted to focus on Heath Ledger’s joker. For me and many others, Heaths joker is the star of that movie and I wanted to capture his first appearance of the film/introduction to the world. I went for a collage, ransom style poster, very in tune with the antics of the joker in the movie.
