Prince of Darkness

Today’s poster is John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness! I think this one is considered one of Carpenter’s “lesser” films, but it’s just great, bringing a perspective of theoretical physics to traditional notions of biblical evil. And of course, Donald Pleasence, who I would watch in anything. This is a weird, wild ride, which, thanks in part to the ominous score, is filled with dread at every turn.
