I wanted to create a poster that touched upon the OTT nature of the film as well as its geeky undertones and dark 80s style.

The book cover style references the fact that Mandy is an artist of pulp fiction novels plus it gave me a good grounding point for the 80s influenced graphic design.

The comic style line art and halftone colours help add to the tactile nature of the paper book and also reflect its OTT dark humour. Moreover, it gave me a chance to explore a new style of working.
