Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Tribute poster for this SNES era classic.

I played this brilliant title in 1998, several years after it’s release. My father and I gathered around the newly purchased Model 2 Super Nintendo and soaked in the brilliant game design.

This was the first Zelda title to use parallel worlds as a narrative device, I can still remember arriving in a ruined Hyrule for the first time. The Master Sword waiting to be called into action once again will forever bring a dreamy smile to my face.
