Prismacolor pencil drawing on toned paper. A3 size (16.5″x11.75″) – Scarlett Johansson as Motoko Kusanagi (or The Major as I think it will be in the film). I looked at the original movie, some images from the comic and also from the amazing Project 2501 to come up with the design, but it’s not trying to be accurate to anything in particular. Also I think in the new film the cyborg body will look very different. This was a lot of fun to do, happy with the final look and the portrait of Scarlett :)
