With this project I wanted to steer away from the broken glass idea to explore options that might be thematically relatable but still different than the core marketing theme. I had recently created a project for a client involving Rorshach ink blot tests and Nightmare on Elm Street. The horror elements in this movies was frankly underutilized in marketing and I thought that would be a great theme to incorporate into the color palette and overall lighting of the design. I created each piece of the poster individually (as well as designing a new logo) and put everything together digitally which always allows for experimentation beyond one’s original idea.
