Like many of us here I’m sure I recently fell for the Stranger Things series. And this to my surprise as I am usually definitely not inclined to like Sci-Fi, monsters and mysteries. Now, there is a lot more to that in Stranger Things. The characters are different, deep and everything around makes the whole perfect. The setting, the 80s depicted like never (clothes, music, an enthusiasm for technology, bikes…), the editing…If you haven’t seen it and liked The Goonies or E.T. as a kid, you need to watch it! 011 (Eleven, or Elle) is one of the central characters, and I am not going to ruin it for anyone who hasn’t it seen the show yet, I will just say how much she is mesmerizing. For her portrait I wanted something simple, with contrasting colors and somehow an emphasis on that haircut which makes her stand out beautifully.
