Alternative Aesthetics – known to some as Colin Kersley – is an illustrator based in Cardiff, UK.
Colin creates bold linear work with a bite to its personality and a twist of humour for good measure. Over the years, Colin has let his mind wander and spill out through a combination of expressive lettering, darkly adorable characters, and a taste for the weird but wonderful.
Having created illustrations for advertising campaigns, products, packaging, publishing, editorial and murals, Colin has worked with clients such as Sony Music / Bethesda Games / Black Screen Records / IKEA / ESPN / Chilly’s Bottles and more.
