👤Who is Aleksander Walijewski?

Aleksander Waljewski is an award-winning Polish illustrator known for his delightfully abstract work, inspired by the famous Polish School of Posters movement that ran from the 1950s through to the 1980s.

He has worked with Netflix, Amazon, Yellow Veil Pictures, QCODE Media and many Polish theatres and cultural institutes, including STU Theatre in Cracow, Jaracz Theatre in Łódź and Warsaw Chamber Opera. His posters have received multiple international awards and have been exhibited at various international poster shows in Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Finland, England, Serbia, Cyprus, USA, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia and Japan.

Recently, Aleksander was personally selected by Brandon Cronenberg to create the official title treatment for Infinity Pool and later worked on the official poster for Pamfir directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk.

✍️Foreword by Brandon Cronenberg

We’re honoured to have filmmaker Brandon Cronenberg (Possessor, Infinity Pool), write the foreword for our book. For us, this is truly special. Alternative posters pay tribute to the films and other misc pop culture properties that artists love. To have recognition from Brandon means so much to us.
