On Wednesday May 3rd 2023 at 5pm BST we will release a new officially licensed poster for MANDY by Italian illustrator ARTbyGB. This fine art giclee is limited to just 30 editions and will be hand numbered – worldwide shipping available.
My poster for Mandy was created back in 2018 as a submission for a creative brief by PosterSpy to celebrate the release of the movie. I was honored to see my piece picked by director Panos Cosmatos himself as the winning entry and now to be selected to be included in Mandy: The Ultimate Poster Collection. In my artwork I tried to represent the eerie, surreal and mystical aurea of this amazing movie, which captured me with its visionary photography and its unique visual style. I realized the ink base hatching and stippling, and then added digital color.
