Steven Spielberg’s journey as a creative a lot like the three gents aboard the Orca…a display of wit and bravery in the face of intense adversity. David vs. Goliath. However – Spielberg, the Orca crew AND the killer shark all have something in common – they each had a desire to relentlessly pursue something worth capturing.

Fun Fact: I had to find a way to include a subtle nod to the score in the work. The shadowy reflection of the Orca’s perch in the middle of the piece doubles as the two main music notes from the film’s iconic theme.
