The Andy Griffith Show – A Mayberry Family Portrait

I’ve been watching a lot of classic television while being in lockdown with my grandpa. The comedies of a bygone era are easy to digest, even if most of the humor and subject matter is dated. The Andy Griffith Show is one of the few shows that holds up exceptionally well, with resounding themes of morals, virtues, and simple family values. It’s the definition of Americana, with Andy Griffith’s charisma leading an incredible cast.
