Here’s something I spent a couple of days on. In November 2014, the Force Awakens teaser made a debut and I nearly had a heart attack; I farted out a poster in under an hour, still wobbly from the emotions and hype. It was a hurried effort, with bad blending and horrid issues all-around, and I decided to see what I could do with it through a more level-headed approach almost a year later, with better understanding of how shapes and colors work with each other and what symmetry means to composition. I started on zero and built it again from the ground-up, trying to apply everything I’ve learned since effort #1. So here’s my very first The Force Awakens poster, reworked.
