The concept behind this poster was to draw emphasis on the 10 years of Borderlands. I deiced to achieve this by using the very first line of the games story which I heard ten years ago. I wanted to keep the colours in theme with the original style of Borderlands 1, I also drew inspiration from the world itself by creating a weathered and distorted poster. Something akin to what you would see in the in-game universe a gritty western style approach along side the broken vault symbol which both relates to the breaking open of the vaults on Pandora showing the world has became fractured and unstable along side paying homage to Handsome Jack and how he got this scar.
