‘Nightmare On Sesame Street’

When I was 5-years-old, I had a nightmare about Grover from Sesame Street. The sky was an eerily red and orange. Grover was standing motionless and staring at me from across a field with his head down and eyes fixed directly on me. His eyes didn’t look normal nor kind and I knew this Grover was seriously up to no good. He suddenly jolted towards me, moving fast and maniacally. I swear he moved like that creepy, ghost-girl from ‘The Ring’ – and this was years before the movie was released. I woke up right before he reached me, but… I’m scarred for life and will never look a Grover the same way again. 😳 I decided to face the puppet-demon by doing a fun piece in his honor.
