Kong: Skull Island poster - A King's Wrath Unleashed

Here is my submitted artwork for the poster contest. With this poster I used the imagery of napalm and fire to not just reflect the film’s time period which is the Vietnam War but also the anger inside of Kong unleashed. The gorilla skull-shaped napalm blast symbolizes the fiery rage that has bursted out of Kong as he stands ready to unleash hell on those that have invaded and destroyed his land with fire. Kong: Skull is one of my most anticipated movies of this year. From the Apocalypse Now-imagery, the beautiful creatures and locations to seeing King Kong as this unstoppable force of nature, I am fully excited and ready to see director Jordan Vogt-Roberts’s fresh new take on the classic movie monster.
