K.I.Z – Drei Lieder vom Hass

K.I.Z is a German hip hop group whose lyrics often are very ironic and sociocritical yet brutal and harsh. This poster is about three songs which are quite horrorfilm-esque. If they really were films, they’d be published as triple-feature (at least that’s what I imagine), so each column stands for one song with its individual title and shows one of the three members of K.I.Z.
The title for the collection, “Drei Lieder vom Hass”, means “Three songs about hate” and is both a nod to the nature of the songs, as well as to a headline in the infamous German newspaper Bild after K.I.Zs performance at a festival against right-wing-violence which read “27 Minuten Hass auf Veranstaltung gegen Hass” (“27 minutes of hate at event against hate”).
