Ice Cold in Alex

Ice Cold in Alex is a 1958 British film described as a true story in the film’s opening credits, based on the novel of the same name by British author Christopher Landon. The film features a beer quite prominently, Carlsberg, and the lead characters quest for the desirable beverage after getting caught behind enemy lines in Egypt. Directed by J. Lee Thompson and starring John Mills, the film was a prizewinner at the 8th Berlin International Film Festival.
