This poster was created for the Alternative Movie Posters 30 x 30 show – a celebration of the movies of 1992. I chose John Woo’s Hard Boiled because a) I figured everyone would choose Batman Returns, Alien 3 or Reservoir Dogs and I didn’t want to compete on those fronts, and b) cos this movie is an absolute stormer, with possibly the best shoot-out scene in cinema history. I wanted to capture a bit of that madness in the poster, and this is the result.
