GORILLAS IN THE MIST

Posters With Science #7 (All of the posters from this series have a scientific theme, expressly created for an exhibition of a Museum dedicated to this department) Dian Fossey’s research work in the mountains of East Africa demystified the violent reputation of the gorillas of that environment, in an important study of the planet biology and ecosystem. – Artistically I wanted to translate the transparency of the biologist confronted with the rude nature and virgin territory. The gorilla is strategically positioned in front of her mouth, indicating that “she spoke for them”.
