Blade Runner 2049

I’m starting a new 3D series of favourite SCI-FI posters. Blade Runner 2049 is one of my favourite films from this genre so was an excellent place to start. The poster is divided up into two worlds, the bright lights of a busy city and the distant stormy worlds of the orange desert storms. I also added some of my favourite elements from the film.

The poster is 90% produced in Cinema 4D and graded/coloured using Corona Renderer. Paper debris was simulated using MoGraph within Cinema. The type/rain was added later in Photoshop.

Fun series I’m looking forward to the next one!
