ALTERNATIVE poster idea for BABY DRIVER! Baby’s black iPod, vibrating, shaking, cracking under the speed and intensity of Baby’s driving and representing ‘Baby Driver’ as a movie. Subtle details include, the movies release date within the car speedo of the iPod’s wheel, you can still see the actual iPod button underneath. Full battery because the movie seems pretty ‘fully charged’ from the trailer. Details on the screen, 5 of 5 – Edgar Wright’s 5th movie. The times equal the length of the movie itself. Album cover artwork is Baby’s car and is bursting out the conventual art box size. Minimalist idea, all vector drawn graphics on Adobe Illustrator by me (no photography used). I really didn’t want to use anything from the original poster, (such as colours or fonts) which is pretty banging, I’m not going to try to compete with it.
