The film takes a candid and raw look at Crosby’s unparalleled yet turbulent six-decade career, the native Californian has created songs that resonate as indelible cultural touchstones for more than three generations, not only as a solo artist, but as a founding member of The Byrds in the mid-60s, Crosby, Stills & Nash (recipients of the Grammy for best new artist in 1969), and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He’s collaborated with dozens of artists, including Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, Phil Collins, Elton John and Carole King.
A.J. is looking for three artists to create artwork for the film and/or tribute art to the legend that is David Crosby, who celebrates his 80th birthday this year.
This is a paid commission, with an opportunity for an exclusive worldwide print release with competitive royalty splits. Prints will be available from the PosterSpy Store and potentially via David Crosby’s store.
Artists will be given an asset bank to work with as well as creative direction from both A.J. and PosterSpy.
